Prince of Peace Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an accomplished and resourceful operations leader to join our team at our headquarters in Livermore, CA. Just outside San Francisco, our 153,000 square foot warehouse and headquarters office building is accessible to San Francisco, San Jose, and the greater East Bay area.
This key role offers an exciting opportunity to lead distribution operations at three (3) distribution centers located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New Jersey. The selected candidate will oversee a wide array of functions, including logistics, supply chain, inventory management, order fulfillment, production, packaging, and facility maintenance. The core objectives include building cohesive and high performing teams that elevate quality, efficiency, customer service, and profitability.

With 3 strategically located warehouses we service three functional sales businesses vertically integrated to the Mass Market, Health Food and Ethnic channels of trade across the U.S.A., Canada, and Internationally.
Today the company does business with almost every regional and nationally recognized retailer across various channels, including F/D/M, Health Food, Dollar, Sports, Hardware, Club, Specialty, and Ethnic channels.
Key Responsibilities - Direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of all distribution and fulfillment operations across three (3) locations to meet order and customer requirements
- Direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of grading, production, and packaging functions for our tea and ginseng business
- Optimizes productivity, quality, and cost parameters through strategic and tactical operational planning and execution
- Implement WMS and establish key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics and reporting to help drive transportation, logistics, and global trade performance, model capacity constraints, and drive continual improvement
- Ensures financial targets are met by operating within budgets, managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions
- Addresses immediate and long-term manpower needs through effective planning and recruitment, hiring, training, and onboarding processes
- Provides leadership that inspires others while establishing a positive environment built upon open communication and trust
- Fosters a nurturing leadership style that embraces coaching, mentoring, and employee development while recognizing both individual and team successes
- Ensures effective utilization of resources and a highly trained workforce through continuous process improvement and staff training and development
- Sets and upholds high standards for facility appearance and safety, ensuring good housekeeping practices across the distribution center, loading docks, and surrounding grounds
- Champions Lean Operations, Continuous Quality Improvement, and Safety Compliance principles that align with business objectives
- Assures compliance with federal and state OSHA regulations regarding employee safety and warehouse security
Desired Qualifications - Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
- Proven leadership in managing distribution center and warehouse operations
- Experience in CPG industry and food processing facilities a plus
- Strong aptitude for team and individual development
- Ability to analyze complex business situations and develop creative business solutions
- Ability to prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in applying principles of Lean Processes and Continuous Improvement
- Familiarity with ERP systems (MS Dynamics GP preferred), WMS, and QMS processes
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with MS Office
- B.S. Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent a plus
Travel Onsite 5 days/week at SF Bay Area headquarters
Occasional travel to Los Angeles and New Jersey facilities
Compensation & Benefits $150,000 - $180,000 plus bonus
