Job description: UAS / Drone Customer Service & Repair Technician Internship
PowerVision Robot is on a mission to “innovate the future”. The PowerVision Group is a global technology leader focusing on UAV related products, and services including smart drones, data visualization, forecasting, virtual reality, and augmented reality. Headquartered in Beijing, China, Power Vision Group has offices in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Yangzhou, Silicon Valley, Boston, Helsinki, Frankfurt, and Perth.
Power Vision Robot will provide training to well qualified applicants. Applicant should be accustomed to work in a start-up environment.
As a customer service & repair technician, you’ll have an opportunity to work with the most exciting robotic technology in Silicon Valley.
Responsibilities:
• Must have a “Passion” for working with drones / UAS / robot technology
• You will be the first responder to all incoming IT help desk support calls including software and hardware. You must take ownership.
• You will also repair, troubleshoot, perform parts replacement, upgrades, and/or service on our workstations
• You will Fly, Test, and Troubleshoot the latest drone technology
• Maintain a clean, and organized working area.
• Take ownership of every repair to insure “0” to minimal returns
• Submitting UAS / drone work orders accurately, and efficiently using our work flow order form
• Communicate regularly in person, and by phone with team members, inventory managers, technical specialists, and lead service technician.
• Accurately record parts used for each robot/drone/job, and time spent on each unit.
• Regularly observing and assessing customer needs. Recommending additional products and services and working with executive structure to deliver customer needs.
• Adhering to all company’s rules and regulations
• Be able to report bugs, and or any other problems accurately
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs, and ship-out properly packed drones to customers
Skills:
• Must have a “Passion” for working with drones / UAS / robot technology
• Possess excellent customer service skills, and is very coachable
• Works well in a team environment, and has a proactive / motivated posture
• Required – Must have a strong mechanical, electrical, and technology aptitude
• Solid organizational skills required
• Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
• Positive attitude, well-groomed, and a constant professional appearance is required.
• Strong DIY experience.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing action items
• Basic Windows + Mac experience.
Salary would be determined when hired, based on your credentials and experience
