Weee Logistics is looking for a full-time Fleet Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations in our Union City location. These operations include dispatch, fleet and delivery duties. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency while ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities could include but are not limited to planning the daily schedule, fleet inspections, continuous improvement projects, dispatch, allocation of fleet equipment and drivers and maintaining constant communication with drivers to ensure safe operation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Create and manage a vehicle equipment maintenance log for all equipment.
Drive vehicles to scheduled maintenance appointments as needed.
Coordinating vehicle distributing, parking, and collecting keys, managing gas credit cards, compiling, and reconciling receipts, and scheduling vehicle maintenance.
Fleet and Driver support; triage issues that may arise on a daily basis.
Assist with administrative, purchasing and contracting tasks as assigned.
Monitor and maintain vehicle fuel levels and mileage database to track vehicle usage.
Make sure all paperwork inside the vehicle is current i.e., registrations, insurance cards.
Assist with new vehicle purchases and replacements.
Suggest opportunities to reduce costs and improve fleet operations. Explore new technologies and alternative fuel usage and recommend cost effective fuel purchasing options.
Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle inside and out.
Report any issues with vehicles.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred - Supply Chain or Logistics oriented is preferred.
3+ years of routing/dispatching experience
Knowledge and understanding of FMCSRs and DOT Compliance
Understanding of vehicle maintenance related to semi-trailers and diesel tractors.
Demonstrated ability to manage drivers.
Basic computer skills
Ability to Multitask.
